Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about ordering, shipping, or our tiles. Can't find what you need? Contact us directly.

What is the minimum order quantity?+
Our minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 50 m². This covers a small room or a significant floor/wall area. For project planning, we recommend adding 10% to your calculated area to account for cuts and breakage.
Can I order samples before placing a full order?+
Yes — and we strongly recommend it. Samples let you verify color, texture, and finish under your actual site lighting. Request up to 5 free samples through our samples page. Sample delivery takes 7–14 days.
What is the production lead time?+
Standard lead time is 4–6 weeks from the date your 50% deposit is received and cleared. Custom colorways require 6–8 weeks. We will confirm your exact timeline in the proforma invoice.
Do you ship worldwide?+
Yes. We ship to over 50 countries. Common destinations include the US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, UAE, Australia, and Canada. We support all major Incoterms — EXW (collect from our factory), FOB Tanger, CPT (we pay freight to your named destination), and DDP (door-to-door, fully arranged). Contact us for a shipping quote.
Are your tiles ASTM certified?+
Yes. Our tiles meet ASTM C936 (Standard Specification for Solid Interlocking Concrete Paving Units) and EN 13748 (European standard for hydraulic cement mosaic tiles). Certificates are available on request.
Can I request a custom color?+
Yes. We can match a custom color from a Pantone reference, a paint chip, or a physical sample. Custom colorway production requires a minimum of 100 m² and adds 2 weeks to the lead time. Contact us to discuss.
What tile size do you produce?+
Our standard size is 20 × 20 cm with a thickness of 1.6–1.7 cm. We also produce custom sizes and shapes including hexagon, large format (30×30 cm, 20×40 cm), and bespoke cuts. See our Custom Shapes page for details.
How do I care for cement tiles?+
Cement tiles must be sealed before grouting and use. We recommend a penetrating sealer applied in 2 coats with a 30-minute drying interval between coats. Sealed tiles are easy to clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and warm water. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, bleach) which can etch the surface. Re-seal annually in high-traffic areas.
Do you have a trade or wholesale program?+
Yes. Architects, interior designers, and trade professionals qualify for our Trade Program — with direct factory pricing, priority lead times, and dedicated account support. Applications take 2 minutes and are approved within 1 business day.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept bank transfer (SWIFT and SEPA) and Wise. Payment is 50% deposit to start production, 50% balance before shipment (or upon delivery for DDP orders, by arrangement).
Are there natural variations between tiles?+
Yes — and this is intentional. Each tile is hand-poured into a brass mold and hydraulically pressed. Minor variation in tone and texture between tiles is a defining characteristic of authentic encaustic cement tile. It is not a defect. Samples are provided so you can assess this before ordering.
Can the tiles be used outdoors?+
Yes, with proper sealing. Our tiles have been used on pool terraces, outdoor terraces, and covered exterior floors in various climates. For areas exposed to frost, we recommend consulting with us first — tile performance in freeze-thaw conditions depends on substrate, drainage, and the sealing specification.
